Cincinnati Bell, a media communications company, has been a supporter of military service personnel through its Hometown Hero award and its contributions to the USO. The Cincinnati Bell Hometown Hero award is given at every Reds home game, and it honors service members who are in one of the five branches of service. The company also gives contributions to the USO. These contributions are in the form of sponsoring the USO Tribute Cincinnati Gala, the largest source of support for USO Metropolitan Washington outside of Washington, D.C. Furthermore, in the past 12 years, USO Tribute Cincinnati has raised over $5 million and has been involved in programs such as emergency housing and those for recuperating soldiers. |
